Hey!
Week 4 of this little Monday experiment on Compass Points:
—————
Nice Guy vs Good Man
I was watching a Matthew McConaughey podcast (yes, I watch podcasts), and one line stuck: there’s a difference between being a nice guy and being a good man.
A nice guy says yes to everything, smooths things over, and avoids friction. A good man knows what he stands for - and what he stands against. He’s not looking for trouble, but if trouble crosses his line, he meets it.
There’s no harm in being a nice guy. But we all respect - and want to be - a good man. Maybe because deep down we know strength isn’t about being loud. It’s about discernment, boundaries, and the willingness to protect what matters.

Here’s to a week of being good, not just nice.
From chaos to compass points - see you next week.

PS: Think of Compass Points as my Monday thought experiment — one short reflection each week, shared with friends to see what resonates.
In a world where nuance seems to be more controversial than ever, thoughtful delivery of discernment is key. Great thought to start the week as usual, Pranjal
